An Afghani delegation paid a visit from Imam Reza (A.S.) International University to make familiar with the activities of this university.
13 professors and chairmen of Afghanistan universities with the purpose of increasing the scientific cooperation with Iran, paid a visit from Imam Reza (A.S.) International University on Thursday morning, Tir 5, 1393.
Dr. Mir Ahmad Hamed, chairman of seyed Jamal al-Din Asadabadi University, meanwhile expressing delight from attending in the Imam Reza (A.S.) International University and making familiar with the activities of this scientific center, requested the increased scientific cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan.
Considering the scientific level of Imam Reza (A.S.) International University as high enough, he said, “The Afghani universities are weak compared with Iranian universities and we try to improve the situation.”
Chairman of Khurasan University of Afghanistan added, “I learned many experiences and points in my visit from Imam Reza (A.S.) International University and I hope I could apply them in my country.”
Referring to the agreement under preparation between Imam Reza (A.S.) International University and higher education centers of Afghanistan, he said, “We seek further cooperation and dispatch of our students to Imam Reza (A.S.) International University for studying in graduate and doctorate grades through this agreement.”
Referring also to the wars and problems in Afghanistan, Hamed continued, “We have experienced many wars and crises over the time in Afghanistan that have slowed down the scientific progress rate in this country and we hope we could promote the scientific advancement in our country through increasing scientific cooperation with Iran.”
It is notable that the Afghani delegation paid also a visit from Ferdowsi University, Medical Sciences University, and the Razavi Hospital in Mashhad.
